Jesse Mitchum serves as Senior Pastor at Keyport Bible Church. Originally from northeast Georgia, he and his wife, MacKenzie, met while attending Truett McConnell University, where they both graduated with undergraduate degrees in World Missions. Shortly after marrying, Jesse and MacKenzie moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where they served as missionaries for nine years before returning to the United States in March 2026. They have five beautiful children—four girls and one boy.
Jesse also holds a Master of Religious Education from Asia Biblical Theological Seminary. He is passionate about expository preaching, Christ-centered teaching, and faithfully shepherding the local church. In his free time, he enjoys drumming, songwriting, hiking, and eating Thai food.
